These briefings kick off The Scan—a hands-on, audio-first guide for private pilots chasing the EASA Basic Instrument Rating (BIR). It started as a personal mission: the training world was full of full-IR textbooks and airline-style theory, but almost nothing that spoke to everyday GA pilots flying Cessnas on a weekend.

So I built what I needed—something practical, understandable, and grounded in real-world flying. With help from AI, I pulled together the best bits from countless sources and shaped them into a single, clear-headed resource. No fluff, no lectures—just focused, cockpit-ready audio you can learn from while driving, walking, or pre-flighting.
